Units (insulin syringe)
On an insulin syringe, "units" refer to the graduation marks along the barrel. A U-100 syringe has 100 units per milliliter, so 50 units is 0.5 mL. Units are a volume measure, not a measure of how much compound is present — that depends on concentration.
