TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring actin-sequestering protein involved in cytoskeletal organisation and cell migration. Preclinical studies have suggested roles in wound healing, angiogenesis, and anti-inflammatory signalling. Its plasma half-life is approximately 2 hours, which has led to variable dosing protocols in practice. TB-500 is often discussed alongside BPC-157 in peer protocols for soft-tissue recovery. However, controlled human trials are scarce, and its safety profile outside of research settings is not well characterised. Users who track TB-500 should document dosing frequency, injection sites, and subjective recovery outcomes.

Mechanism

A synthetic fragment related to thymosin beta-4. In preclinical work it is described as an actin-binding peptide implicated in cell migration and tissue-repair signaling; human mechanistic data are limited.

Research summary
