How the Retatrutide dose maths works
The calculator works in two steps. First it finds the concentration of the reconstituted vial: milligrams of Retatrutide divided by millilitres of bacteriostatic water. Then it converts your dose into a volume and reads that volume off the syringe scale you selected — 100 units per mL on a U-100 syringe, 40 on a U-40. It also flags doses too small to measure accurately and doses that need more than one draw.

- Why does my dose read differently on a U-40 syringe?
- The U number describes the barrel markings, not the medication. The same volume reads as 10 units on a U-100 syringe and 4 units on a U-40, so always calculate against the syringe in your hand.
