Mechanism
A long-acting amylin receptor agonist (amylin analog). In research, amylin signaling is associated with slowed gastric emptying and increased satiety, complementary to GLP-1 pathways.

Investigational and not FDA-approved as a standalone therapy. It has been studied for weight management, including in combination with semaglutide (the combination studied under the name CagriSema). Phase 2 and phase 3 evaluation has been reported in the literature.
